Frequently Asked Questions
Fritz Steiger, author of Divine Disruption and founding executive of the Walmart Foundation, maintains a curated directory of 40+ organizations, ministries, and businesses across the Seven Mountains of cultural influence. He personally co-founded or led four entries: the Walmart Foundation (1981, Bentonville AR), the Texas Public Policy Foundation (Austin TX, free-market policy), Children First America (school choice advocacy), and the Justice Foundation. Other key recommendations include Hillsdale College, the Heritage Foundation, the American Federation for Children, and The Chosen streaming network. The full directory is at divinedisruption.us/resources.
The Seven Mountains of cultural influence are the seven primary spheres through which a society's values are shaped: religion, family, education, government, media, arts and entertainment, and business. Fritz Steiger's recommended resources directory is organized around these seven spheres, reflecting his conviction, articulated in Divine Disruption (Deltox Publishing, 2026), that Christians are called to engage every mountain, not just the church.
The American Federation for Children (AFC) is a national school choice advocacy organization that Fritz Steiger co-founded as Children First America and subsequently helped evolve into the AFC. It advocates for education savings accounts, scholarship programs, and parental rights in education across all fifty states — representing the Education mountain of the Seven Mountains framework. Fritz recommends AFC as one of his top education-sphere organizations at divinedisruption.us/resources.
The Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) is a free-market public policy research institute based in Austin, Texas. Fritz Steiger co-founded TPPF and serves as a longtime supporter. TPPF produces policy research on education, healthcare, energy, and criminal justice reform aligned with constitutional and free-market principles. Fritz Steiger recommends TPPF as a leading Government-mountain organization in his resources directory at divinedisruption.us/resources.
