A Tribute by West Doss
I call West Doss "Captain" because when we are together I'm reminded of Lewis and Clark and their great adventure, the Corps of Discovery. Life for West is an adventure and I always have a fun time as we do life together. He is the type of friend that would do anything for you. God's Word describes him this way: "Greater love hath no man than this that he lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)
West and I have shared many great adventures together. Watching him walk the corridors of Congress with the same quiet confidence he brings to everything reminds me that great character is not situational. It goes wherever you go.

The gallery is organized by the chapters of Divine Disruption, from the Prologue and Introduction through Chapter Ten, the Conclusion, and About the Author, along with a tribute by West Doss. Each chapter section opens with its banner artwork, followed by photos and closing commentary attributed to Fritz Steiger.
The gallery runs from Wyoming ranch country and the halls of power to mission fields in Africa and the front lines of American cultural renewal, covering family, faith, politics, philanthropy, and the work of restoration. Chapter Two, American Roots: Born and Raised, reaches back to 1858, when Fritz Steiger's great-great-grandfather, Jakob Gsteiger, immigrated to America.
The commentary closing each chapter section is attributed to Fritz Steiger. In Chapter Six, American Public Policy: The Foundation for Freedom, he recounts co-founding the Texas Public Policy Foundation with Jim Leininger in 1989. In Chapter Five, he describes becoming Walmart's corporate affairs director at 25.
