American Public Policy: The Foundation for Freedom
Jim Leininger and I co-founded four nonprofits together, starting in 1989 with the Texas Public Policy Foundation. In 1992 we launched the Children's Educational Opportunity Foundation of San Antonio, giving low-income parents the power to choose the best school for their children. Knowing we would have to litigate school choice, we started a public interest law firm called The Justice Foundation in 1993. Then in 1994, with a $2M grant from John Walton and the Walton Family Foundation, we spun off a new national organization called Children First America, which helped launch over 80 private programs in the next 7 years representing over $350M of charitable giving.

The gallery is organized by the chapters of Divine Disruption, from the Prologue and Introduction through Chapter Ten, the Conclusion, and About the Author, along with a tribute by West Doss. Each chapter section opens with its banner artwork, followed by photos and closing commentary attributed to Fritz Steiger.
The gallery runs from Wyoming ranch country and the halls of power to mission fields in Africa and the front lines of American cultural renewal, covering family, faith, politics, philanthropy, and the work of restoration. Chapter Two, American Roots: Born and Raised, reaches back to 1858, when Fritz Steiger's great-great-grandfather, Jakob Gsteiger, immigrated to America.
The commentary closing each chapter section is attributed to Fritz Steiger. In Chapter Six, American Public Policy: The Foundation for Freedom, he recounts co-founding the Texas Public Policy Foundation with Jim Leininger in 1989. In Chapter Five, he describes becoming Walmart's corporate affairs director at 25.
