American Entrepreneurship: Faith and Risk
Over the course of my career I have had the opportunity to be an entrepreneur in a number of ventures. One of the first was MCLAS Technologies, a medical diagnostic company my friend Steve Stephens started. Another Texas-based startup was a smoked meats sandwich shop called the Sunday Smokehaus that Dr. Leininger and I partnered on in Fredericksburg, Texas. Becoming a real estate developer proved to be quite successful initially, and then led to near bankruptcy as a result of the 2008 recession. My company, Deltox, Inc., has provided me with the ability to connect people with opportunities and resources. As I like to say, the language of the kingdom is connection.

Questions About the Photo Gallery
The gallery is organized by the chapters of Divine Disruption, from the Prologue and Introduction through Chapter Ten, the Conclusion, and About the Author, along with a tribute by West Doss. Each chapter section opens with its banner artwork, followed by photos and closing commentary attributed to Fritz Steiger.
The gallery runs from Wyoming ranch country and the halls of power to mission fields in Africa and the front lines of American cultural renewal, covering family, faith, politics, philanthropy, and the work of restoration. Chapter Two, American Roots: Born and Raised, reaches back to 1858, when Fritz Steiger's great-great-grandfather, Jakob Gsteiger, immigrated to America.
The commentary closing each chapter section is attributed to Fritz Steiger. In Chapter Six, American Public Policy: The Foundation for Freedom, he recounts co-founding the Texas Public Policy Foundation with Jim Leininger in 1989. In Chapter Five, he describes becoming Walmart's corporate affairs director at 25.
